I was unfamiliar with all these musicians & artists when I got this 3LP, but I was able to enjoy all the music played, which is a collection of soft pop, soft rock, folk, folk rock, acoustic, electric, hard rock & even prog rock! All tracks recorded live outside at the 1969 Flying Bear Medicine Show Festival, Marin County College, California (USA), Spring 1969. With members of The Sir Douglas Quintet (including Frank Morin-as producer, tenor saxophone; Martin Fierro-alto saxophone; & drummer Johnny Perez-pictured on bottom front & back covers); Buddy Miles Express (including drummer Buddy Miles); The McCoys (including Rick Derringer [Zehringer]-guitar); Ex-Charly Musselwhite's South Side Band member & solo artist Harvey Mandel-lead guitar, who went on to join Canned Heat with whom he played with at the original Woodstock Music & Arts Fair in August 1969. Santana's future drummer who also played at Woodstock 1969 is also pictured on bottom front cover!

This was a documentary color film made for TV, recorded live at The Cincinnati Pop Festival in Crosley Field Stadium (home of the Cincinnati Reds), on Saturday, June 13, 1970 (mis-printed on cover as June 16, for some reason?) with Grand Funk Railroad, Mountain, Alice Cooper & Traffic all play for 15+ minutes apiece, The Stooges have 2 1-minute clips that are pretty WILD, and includes Iggy's "Peanut Butter Moment" live in the crowd!! That's Iggy Pop on the front cover!
