Van Wilks was one of the few rock bands that played the Rio Grande Valley in the 1970s & 1980s when I was growing up down there! Never did see them then, finally saw them in New Braunfels, Texas in 2012 or so, opening for Gregg Allman son's band... The Royal Southern Brotherhood... both bands were smokin'... Ooh, this is a 1-sided record, 4 songs!
