Another version of the above concert with 9 more songs (minus 2 others) from Gian Franco Giudici (Milan, Italy) in superb sound quality. The Last Real Texas Blues Band (1988 - 1999) produced only 1 official release, but had many, many members!

The Last Real Texas Blues Band ~ Live @ Paradiso, Amsterdam, NL, August 12, 1995, DDS 2CDr Limited Edition / Not For Sale

2004 original Discos Doug Saldana #007, Limited #'d Edition, #1 out of 7 copies made. Recorded live @ The Paradiso club, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, August 12, 1995 (the following day after the live set above from Belgium!) Yet another example of Doug Sahm namechecking someone who was never really "there", in this case Flaco Jimenez on track #10, who in fact is really Augie Meyers playing the accordion & doing the vocals on the classic Texas country tune! But for this European tour, Sir Doug did have San Antonio, Texas saxophone legend Vernon "Spot" Barnett!
