Formed in 1962 by Salomon Prado Lechuga out of Ejido Guadalupe la Joya (near the town of General Teran), Nuevo Leon, Mexico & Juan Torres Perales from Ejido Las Trancas (near the town of Cadereyta Jimenez), Nuevo Leon, Mexico. One of the Top 3 conjunto duos of all time! These 2 men recorded various times with many other "musica nortena" musicians in various groups!

1975 original made in Mexico Discos LM LP pressing #258, cover VG+, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings, NO ring-wear, some shelf wear, wear on corners & edges & some staining on the bottom of back cover (see scan), the vinyl is VG+ with several very light scratches that do not really affect the playing or the sound, (you do not notice them when it is played) this old records were "very well made" ("de buena madera!"), the songs, if you are familiar with the song list are beautiful corridos & conjunto music from Mexico!

These guys are a RIOT! (I have my VG+ copy which I play all the time, they make me laugh, they make me dance, they make me SHOUT!!!) Yeah, YeAH, YEAH!!!




Los Donnenos ~ Mas Tragedias Con Los Campeonisimos, 1960 original Discos Columbia LP, $1,500 + S / H
1960 original made in the USA Discos Columbia / Miami Records LP pressing #MDC 2012, cover M-, still in the original plastic shrink-wrap, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings, NO ring-wear, vinyl VG++ to M-, NO scratches, 1 scuff, plays excellent w minimal background noise. Los Donnenos, Ramiro Cavazos (w mustache, bajo-sexto, vocals, born Feb. 16, 1927) & Mario Montes (accordion, vocals, born Jan. 17, 1923) were both born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, but got together in Donna, Texas (in my home region of the Rio Grande Valley) and made their 1st recordings in 1948! This "impossibly rare" LP on the impossibly rare Discos Columbia is textbook quality on the classic corridos of the day.
